We know that the Encore is still available through Buick dealers, but believe us when we say that the GX is a far superior Encore. This vehicle’s competitors include the Audi Q3, Volvo XC40, and Toyota RAV4.
2024 Buick Encore GX Redesign
The 137-horsepower 1.2-liter inline-three engine will be phased out in favor of the 155-horsepower 1.3-liter inline-three for the 2024 model year. Rosewood, Cinnabar, Sunset Glow, and Sapphire are new 2024 Buick Encore GX for the 2024 color wheel. For a three-cylinder, its low-down torque delivery is excellent, and it rides nicely on the highway. The CVT gearbox, on the other hand, seems stale and is always on the lookout for the optimal ratio. We like the nine-speed automatic transmission, which is only offered with all-wheel drive.
