This seven-seater SUV has a lot of room and great comfort and features for a low price, but its biggest opponent is the emblem on the hood. There aren’t many Buicks on the road anymore. Although it’s inappropriate to judge a book by its cover, luxury brands face a harsh reality.
It has a 3.6-liter V6 and a nine-speed automated gearbox in the Enclave. All four wheels or only the front wheels get the same power. The Chevrolet Traverse, its cousin, and other large SUVs like the GMC Acadia are the main competitors for this Buick. These SUVs will be compared to the Enclave in our assessment.
New 2024 Buick Enclave Redesign
For the time being, the 2024 Buick Enclave version of the Enclave will only get minor cosmetic changes. The present 3.6-liter V6 engine will be retained in the 2024 model, which will go on sale next year and get interior and cosmetic changes.
A hands-free power programmable liftgate with LED logo projection is standard on all 2024 Buick Enclave versions, as are 18-inch painted aluminum wheels. A power moonroof with a fixed rear skylight is standard equipment on the top-of-the-line Avenir. It also comes with 20-inch alloy wheels.
Interior
When designing the inside of the 2024 Buick Enclave, Buick was aiming for a luxury label. Power-adjustable front seats and a 4G Wi-Fi hotspot are included as standard. The cabin of the Buick Enclave isn’t the most luxurious, but it’s adequate for the money. Tall adults will feel at home in the front captain’s seats, which provide enough head and legroom for anyone over six feet tall.
Engine
For 2024, just one engine and gearbox combination will be available. The Enclave is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 naturally-aspirated gas engine that delivers 310 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque. All four wheels get power from a nine-speed automatic gearbox. An “acceptable” driving experience may be had with this powerplant. When accelerating, the Enclave won’t throw you back in your seat, but it won’t have any trouble climbing a hill either.
When you’re not rushing around town, the nine-speed automatic gearbox does an excellent job of choosing speeds. While merging onto the highway is a joy, it may be a challenge for the gearbox to find the right ratios while the vehicle is accelerating strongly. All in all, this is an excellent set-up, but it won’t blow you away.

The price of a new 2024 Buick Enclave Preferred trim in the United States is $40,300 before taxes and fees. The $1,195 destination fee is also included in the price of every 2024 Buick Enclave shown here. The Essence is priced at $42,300 USD. The Premium is priced at $48,400, while the Avenir is priced at $54,100. At a cost of $2,000 and $2,200 for the Premium and Avenir, AWD may be added to the Essence.
