The basic 3.6-liter V6 engine seen in the previous Lacrosse will not be offered in the new CXL. Rather than that, this exquisite luxury automobile will be powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter LSY four-cylinder engine developed by General Motors that produces 233 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. The engine will be available with all-wheel drive or front-wheel drive, with power being distributed via a nine-speed automatic gearbox.
